Expanding horizons: Welcome MV Eva and MV Ella
As the SAL-Intermarine fleet continues to grow, we’re excited to announce the addition of another two eco-optimized F300-type MPP vessels: MV Eva and MV Ella.
MV Eva joins the fleet
Shortly before 2024 came to an end, MV Eva officially joined the fleet. Captain Mykhailo Makushenko took command of the vessel in Gros-Cacouna, Canada, supported by Henning Pulmer on-site and Ruediger Wentzel coordinating from Bremen. Just two days after the takeover, MV Eva embarked on her maiden voyage, departing for Gaspe, Canada, to load 15 windmill blades bound for Corpus Christi, USA.
Another sister vessel: Welcome MV Ella
Adding to this momentum, the new year brought the long-term charter of MV Ella (formerly Pia), further strengthening the fleet and the position of the JSI Alliance in global trade. MV Ella’s first voyage has already been booked: she will deliver 3,700 t of steel plates from Mobile, Alabama, to Shanghai, China.
Both vessels, alongside their sister ships MV Industrial Ursula and MV Industrial Katharina, highlight the continued success of the JSI Alliance’s commercial operations. With their eco-optimized design, robust capabilities, and top condition, MV Eva and MV Ella are perfectly suited to support worldwide trade.
